WANAKA FLY FISHING GUIDES
Full-day Guided Fly Fishing, Wanaka
You will be picked up from your accommodation at a pre-arranged time and dropped back after a great day on the water. Lunches, snacks and refreshments are provided and can be catered to any special needs or requests you have. Full equipment is also provided where necessary. This includes rod, reel, line and tippet, flies, waders and extra clothing. Sturdy footwear is advised as well as provisional clothing in case of bad weather.

Most of these rivers are open from November through until the end of April with the warmer months being January through to March. Although these rivers fish well throughout the entire season the warmer months produce great dry fly fishing conditions, with trout at there prime weight and condition.
Access to these remote rivers is by 4WD vehicle, boat or helicopter by special arrangement, with travel time varying between 30 and 120 minutes allowing you time to take in some of the most breath taking scenery the Southern Lakes Region has to offer.
Rates:
- Full day guided fishing NZD$600 (minimum trip time 8 hrs)
- Additional anglers NZD$50 extra per head
- Fishing Licence: $19 per day or full season $103
- Max of two anglers per guide
- Prices are effective from October 1st 2008
